I was so proud teaching my daughter these words when she was 2years old. I have ommitted telling her that the person who wrote it is from Uitenhage. I will rectify that. I also think Uitenhage people should be conscientized in terms of the legacy of this song and its roots. This excerpt (above) would be a good piece to read in this week’s UD.
